Prince Harry reportedly wants a date with Katy Perry.

The second in line to the throne apparently hopes to sign the 'Firework' singer up for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee concert so that he can make his move.

Harry, 27, is even said to have turned to event organiser and Take That star Gary Barlow to help get 27-year-old Katy - who is back on the market after splitting with husband Russell Brand - on board.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: 'Harry has a double reason for targeting Katy. First he thinks she is a rocking artist with great songs. But secondly she is single and very sexy.

'He sees this as an opportunity to get close to Katy. And he is confident his charm will win her over.

'And although Katy may have ended it with Russell, she still has a soft spot for wild boys.'

According to the report, the hook-up become a reality with Katy having previously admitted to fancying the royal bachelor.

However. a Buckingham Palace spokesman denied either Harry or his big brother Prince William have had anything to do with the line-up for the June 4 event, which will feature performances by Kylie Minogue, Stevie Wonder and Elton John.
