Zac Efron casually dropped what looked like to be a condom, and the internet blew up today.

Efron sashayed the red carpet at the premiere of "The Lorax" in Los Angeles on February 21. The 24-year-old actor certainly old enough for sex, and wisely using protection, as word got out he let it fall from his pocket after reaching into his pocket. He grabbed up the gold packet and mouthed "Oh my god," to his publicist, according to US Weekly.

The incident was captured on video, which can be seen below. Efron can also be seen turning his back to photographers for a few seconds while trying to suppress a laugh.

The actor lent his voice to the lead character in the children's film, based on the eponymous tome written by Dr. Seuss in 1971. Taylor Swift, Danny DeVito, Ed Helms and Betty White also lend their voices in the film, which is due out March 2.

In the past, Efron dated his "High School Musical" co-star Vanessa Hudgens from 2007 to 2010.

Efron will appear in "The Lucky One," based off the Nicholas Sparks novel of the same name slated for release on April 20, 2012.
