Eva Longoria 'strives' for happiness every day since her divorce.
The 'Desperate Housewives' actress split from Tony Parker after three and a half years of marriage in November 2010, and says she gets stronger every day now the relationship is behind her.
Eva - who is now dating Eduardo Cruz - told Hollyscoop.com: 'You know what, every day I strive to be happy. So yeah, I think every day is another victory!'
She has also recently praised 26-year-old Eduardo - brother of Penelope Cruz - for helping her through such a difficult period in her life.
She said: 'The truth is, I should be angry, resentful and disillusioned about relationships. But I'm not. I was very lucky to find Edu.'
As well as changes in her personal life over the last year, Eva has also been taking on a different role professionally, appearing behind the camera to direct short film 'A Proper Send Off', and she is looking forward to carrying on that side of her work more this year.
Speaking at her pre-Oscars party in Hollywood last night (22.02.12), she added: 'I love being behind the scenes. And I love producing, and I'm going to do more directing, so yeah, I like it!'
