Noel Gallagher: I'll do yoga if Chris smokes

Noel Gallagher will do yoga if he gets Chris Martin to smoke.

The 'If I had a Gun' rocker insists he will only follow his health-conscious pal's example if he can persuade the Coldplay singer to abandon his clean-living ways and share a cigarette with him.

Noel told The Sun newspaper: 'He's my mate and the polar opposite of me. He does yoga and doesn't smoke. I'm trying to get him to smoke but he's not having it.

'I said to him I'll do the f***ing crab or the scorpion if he shares a Marlboro Light with me.

'But he's not having it. He's taller than me so he'll probably put me in a headlock, roll me into a ball and throw me into a swimming pool.'

Chris played the piano as Noel's High Flying Birds performed 'AKA... What A Life!' at the BRIT Awards on Tuesday night (21.02.12) - and Noel admits the pair's preparations for the performance were very different as 34-year-old singer was insistent on everything being 'perfectly right' beforehand, while he wasn't so bothered.

He explained: 'Chris is very thoughtful - the polar opposite of me. He likes to have things perfectly right and I couldn't give a s**t.'
