Cee Lo Green spent thousands of dollars during a trip to a strip club.

The 'Bright Lights Bigger City' singer paid a visit to an Indianapolis lapdancing venue in the early hours of last Thursday (02.02.12) with his former bandmates from hip-hop group the Goodie Mob.

According to TMZ.com, Cee Lo asked for dances from 'the baddest bitches in the club'.

The 37-year-old musician and his pals eventually spent a staggering $10,000 in the club.

Cee Lo - who is a judge on singing talent show 'The Voice' - and his pals also partied with several NFL players on the night, days ahead of the Super Bowl which took place at the Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday (05.02.12).

The pop star is known for his extravagant tastes and previously admitted he once spent $40,000 on a diamond gun pendant.

He said: 'I have a pistol, an almost life-size Beretta full of diamonds. I consider it a love gun! I've worn it a couple of times on a necklace.

'It was for sale in New York. I was in Philadelphia and this guy had a picture of it. I was like, 'Yo, I want it.' They tracked it down for me and I bought it. It was about $40,000.

'I'm a bit of a collector [of jewelry] at this point, I have about 15 watches.'
