Scarlett Johansson has a new man on the scene.

The Lost in Translation actress is romantically involved with Nate Naylor, an advertising executive, and the couple have been spotted in New York City looking very cosy.

A source confirmed to US Weekly that 27-year-old Johansson and 38-year-old Naylor have been dating for five months.

“They have been able to keep in under wraps. They really wanted to keep it private,” the insider told the magazine.

Naylor and Johansson were together at the after-party for We Bought a Zoo in December.

“They met through mutual friends,” the source explained.

Another source added that Naylor is “a very interesting guy. He’s more artist than business man.”

People reported that Naylor was previously linked to 3rd Rock from the Sun actress Kristen Johnston. He was with Johnston at the Atlantic Theater Company’s spring gala in 2008.

Naylor’s friends sing his praises telling the magazine “Bottom line is Nate's a great guy and really respected in the industry,” says Lawson Clarke, a freelance creative director, who has worked with Naylor many times.

BAFTA award winner Johansson married actor Ryan Reynolds in September 2008. The couple announced they were separating in December 2010 and their divorce was finalised in July last year.

Johansson can next be seen in Under the Skin, a film about an alien who has taken on human form and is travelling through Scotland. It will be released in the USA in 2012.
