AskMen Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2012

The results from AskMen's 11th annual reader poll for the Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2012 are in.

The AskMen readers vote for their most desirable woman based on the attributes they want in a woman taking into account intelligence, beauty, character and talent.

Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara took the number one slot this year. Vergara said “I am so honoured to be AskMen’s most desired woman this year. A big thank you to all the men who desire me.”

Last year’s number one spot went to Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively who ranked number 32 this year.

AskMen also revealed that the readers desired edgier woman this year with Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga and Rooney Mara making it onto the list.

Television actresses dominated the list for the second year running. 22 TV stars made the list including reality star Kim Kardashian (Keeping Up with the Kardashians), Jennifer Lopez (American Idol), Leah Michele and Dianna Agron (Glee), Zooey Deschanel (New Girl), Kat Dennings (2 Broke Girls) and many others.

This year’s list included leading women such as singer Adele, tennis player Caroline Wozniacki and George Clooney’s girlfriend, Stacy Keibler.

Pippa Middleton was one of the newcomers on the list ranking at number 98. AskMen readers voted her sister, Kate Middleton, in at number 11.

The editor-in-chief of AskMen, James Bassil, said “With more than a third of the women on this year’s list being first time honourees, it is clear that men are intrigued by women who are new on the scene. The 2012 Top 99 Most Desirable Women are an eclectic group – which explains the wide range in what today’s man finds appealing.”
