Demi Moore's famous friends are rallying to her defense.
TV star Kirstie Alley spoke publicy, supporting her friend.
"Demi is a smart, insightful girl and she will work through it," Alley told People on Friday. "I have no doubts. I love Demi. She'll work it out."
Moore, whose breakup with Ashton Kutcher happened in November, has sought professional help for what her rep calls "exhaustion" and to "improve her overall health."
Demi Moore had convulsions after a reported overdose of whip-its (nitrous oxide) and something she allegedly smoked at her Los Angeles home according to the 911 call tape released Friday.
"She smoked something. It's not marijuana, but it's similar to it. It's similar to incense," said a female caller on the 911 tape. "She seems to be having convulsions of some sort."
A second woman also gets on the phone and says, "She's shaking, convulsing, burning up. I'm taking cold water and putting it on her back because she's burning up."
A rescue crew arrived 10 minutes after the call went out at 10:49 p.m. Monday night. Moore, 49, was admitted to hospital.
People previously reported that at least three women and a man were heard speaking on the tape. A person named "Ru" is mentioned on the call, a possible reference to Moore's daughter, Rumer Willis.
Alley and her "Dancing with the Stars" partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy spoke about Moore as they were attending a Dance With Me Studios' Ballroom Birthday Bash.
Chmerkovskiy also offered his support to Moore.
"It's sad that a lot of stuff is public knowledge," he says. "With situations like this, you could deal without everybody knowing about it. From what I know of her and from people who know her say, she's an amazing, strong woman and I hope she'll be all right."
People also reports "The View" cohost Sherri Shepherd offered up prayers for Moore.
"I feel bad for Demi," says Shepherd. "She's a survivor and I know she will get back up and get through this. I hope she and Ashton get back together as I hope Heidi and Seal get back together. I don't like to hear about breakups and I'm really rooting for all of them."
