Actor Matthew Broderick made a big splash as Ferris Bueller in the 1986 comedy "Ferris Bueller's Day Off."
Broderick is resurrecting that popular character once again returning for Super Bowl XLVI in a Honda ad.
The 10-second clip below shows Broderick pulling back the curtains in his bedroom saying, "How can I handle work on a day like today?", a play off of his scripted lines from the film. In the film, Bueller takes a day off from his senior year in high school and mayhem ensues for his sister (Jennifer grey) as he and two friends explore Chicago and all its fabulous cultural offerings.
Honda reportedly hired "The Hangover" director/writer Todd Phillips to create the ad spot:
