Tracy Morgan’s mother, Alicia Warden, learnt about his collapse during the Sundance Film Festival and his admittance to hospital through the Internet.

Morgan’s mother explains to the New York Daily News that she hasn’t seen her son for 11 years, though they have spoken over the phone.
The comedian is not only reportedly estranged from his mother, but his siblings too.
43-year-old Morgan allegedly fell out with his family after he accused them of speaking to the press.
Warden denied the accusation saying "This is the most I've said to anyone."
“When you’re a mother and love your kid, you don’t want to read on the Internet that he’s sick or dead,” she said to the newspaper.
Warden called the Park City Medical Center to find out how her son was doing, but the staff refused to release any information.
“I’m trying to find some way to get in contact. Nobody’s telling me anything,” Warden said.
Morgan explained the reason for his collapse on his Twitter account on Monday.
“Superman ran into a little kryptonite. The high altitude in Utah shook up this kid from Brooklyn,” he tweeted.
Morgan returned to work yesterday. He commented on Twitter saying “On the set of 30 Rock, just walked past @alecbaldwin and said Top That!”
