TMZ reports that an investigation is being conducted into Aubry regards ‘criminal child endangerment and battery.’
According to the police reports, obtained by TMZ, Aubry was scheduled to take Nahla to school but kept her home instead. The nanny, Alliance Kamdem, showed up at Aubry’s house and picked up Nahla. She questioned Aubry regarding the child not attending school.
“You’re the f**king nanny. Who do you think you are? You are a nobody. You don’t need to f**king know anything," Aubry said to Kamdem. The 36-year-old model then pushed the nanny out the door while she still had Nahla in her arms, the report claims.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ they were “definitely investigating child endangerment,” even thought the report only lists the investigation as a battery.
Child protective services have also launched their own child endangerment investigation, TMZ learned.
The Judge rejected Kamdem’s request for a restraining order in court yesterday, according to TMZ.
The Judge called her petition “insufficient and speculative” and said the issues should be settled in family court.
TMZ reports that Kamdem quit her nanny position following the incident.
Berry and Aubry are due back at court on Monday to get a decision on whether Aubry should have any contact with Nahla until the child endangerment investigation is over.
Sources told TMZ that that Judge Mark Juhas, who usually handles the case, is on vacation. Judge Scott Gordon, who was assigned to the case yesterday, decided to wait for Judge Juhas to return from holiday to make a decision.
Judge Gordon did however decide that an immediate emergency order for either side was not necessary as he believed there were enough measures in place to keep Nahla safe until Monday’s court date.
