Simon Cowell stepping back from fiancee Mezhgan Hussainy

'X Factor' judge Simon Cowell appears to have cold feet in the marriage department.
Cowell and his fiancee Mezhgan Hussainy became romantically involved when he served as chief judge on American Idol, the couple meeting in 2003.
But according to the U.K.'s Daily Mail, Cowell and Hussainy are reportedly "on a break" from their announced engagement.
"It's quite a complicated relationship," he told the Mail. "We have had a break from each other, and we are still incredibly close.
"I'm vulnerable. It's not on, it's not off, it's somewhere in the middle. I don't know if I will ever get married, but I am happy."
Reportedly the two haven't seen each other since just before Christmas.
Cowell, 52, and Hussainy, 38, were engaged in February 2010.
Back on a past interview with CNN's Piers Morgan, Cowell was effusive: "I'm smitten with Mezhgan, I think she's the one...She's very special ... You know when you've found somebody very special."
Hussainy has reportedly moved to the "girlfriends graveyard" house of Simon Cowell.
