Tracy Morgan was rushed to hospital after he collapsed at the Sundance Film Festival yesterday, TMZ reported.
The 30 Rock star was at the Creative Coalition Spotlight Awards in Park City, Utah, where he was being honoured with an award.
Sources told TMZ that the 43-year-old comedian appeared intoxicated when he went up to give his speech during the ceremony.
Morgan was then escorted outside the building where he fell unconscious and an ambulance was called, according to TMZ.
However, a spokeswoman for the hospital said that no drugs or alcohol were found in Morgan’s system when he was admitted to the hospital.
Morgan's publicist, Lewis Kay, released a statement. “From a combination of exhaustion and altitude, Tracy is seeking medical attention.”
“He is with his fiance and grateful to the Park City Medical Center for their care. Any reports of Tracy consuming alcohol are 100% false,” Kay added.
Morgan plays a drug dealer called Sprinkles in the film Predisposed. The movie is about a piano prodigy who gets swept up in a wild adventure when trying to help out his mum. The film is screening at the Sundance Festival.
