Jennifer Aniston is adding to her family by adopting a new dog.
The Marley and Me star already has a German Shepherd, Holly.
Aniston’s other dog, Norman, passed away last year.
42-year-old Aniston was left devastated by Norman’s passing. The actress got his name tattooed on the inside of her right foot as a tribute to her dog, according to Female First.
Aniston explained the tattoo saying “That’s my dog. My baby who just passed away." Female First reported.
“I never thought that would ever happen. It’s just my way to pay homage to him – forever.”
Female First quoted a source saying “Jennifer decided to give herself a New Year's present to start the year off right - a new dog.”
“Jen is ready to give another needy dog a home. She has been in mourning since Norman died.”
Aniston is currently dating Justin Theroux. She has been seeing the American Psycho actor since May 2011.
Aniston and Theroux co-star in Wanderlust, a film about a couple who lose their jobs and find alternative living options. The film has a USA release date of 24th February 2012.
