Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart defend age gap on Twitter

Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart may not have officially announced their relationship but it didn’t stop Smart defending the age gap between the couple on his Twitter account.

“Age, status, n opinions of others are irrelevant. Our hearts are endless and our souls infinite.......... To be continued,” J-Lo's back-up dancer Smart tweeted yesterday.

“Our ages are mere reminders of the hours logged on this earth and the precious time remaining........ To be continued.”

“We should all honor our time here by indulging our passion and dreams. So, close your ears and open your hearts; Love and be happy,” Smart concluded.

The Jenny from The Block singer retweeted the posts on her Twitter account.

It’s not the first time 24-year-old Smart has defended his relationship with 42-year-old Lopez over Twitter. He retweeted a previous post at the start of December which read “Why are ppl judging @Caspersmart no 1 knows how long @JLo was separated be4 she announced the divorce ppl need 2 stop being so quick 2 judge.”

Lopez split with husband Mark Anthony in July 2011. They have two children from their relationship, three-year-old twins Emme and Max.
