Matt LeBlanc, the former "Friends" star Joey has made a new name for himself as a heightened version of Matt LeBlanc on Showtime's hit series “Episodes” which netted the handsome actor a Golden Globe on Sunday.
“This is [my] fourth nomination and first win,” Matt told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush backstage on Sunday night at the ceremony.
Matt revels in playing an over-the-top fictionalized version of himself on the show, starring with exceptional actors Stephen Mangan and Tamsin Greig.
The series is cleverly penned by writers David Crain and Jeffrey Klaric.
Filming for Season 2 will follow up the major cliffhanger at the end of Season 1 — as the Lincolns (Stephen Mangan and Tamsin Greig) got their series picked up in Hollywood just as they were ready to head back to London, and right after Sean found out about his wife’s tryst with Matt.
“This second season is bigger and broader and funnier than last year. It’s going to be funny,” LeBlanc told Access Hollywood.
