Blue Ivy Carter is 'gorgeous'

Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland spoke about their former Destiny's Child bandmate's new bundle of joy while they were out on Saturday night.

Blue Ivy Carter may be less than two weeks old but Beyonce and Jay-Z’s baby has hit the headlines since she was born on the 7th January 2012.

And while the world is waiting to see pictures of the newborn, Williams described Blue Ivy as ‘gorgeous.’

Talking to USA Today from the red carpet at the BET Honors in Washington D.C., Williams said “She is absolutely gorgeous. We are all in love.”

She explained that the couple “have already settled into their role of being parents, and it's just awesome to see.”

And has this made Williams broody?

“They might have inspired me a little bit, but this ring finger got to get a little more heavy first!’ Williams explained.

Rowland stated that you had to see little Blue Ivy for yourself and make up your own mind on who she looks like.

“That’s for her parents to disclose, not myself,” Rowland added.

Rapper Jay-Z and Sweet Dreams singer Beyonce issued a statement announcing the birth of their baby girl.

Jay-Z released a song featuring Blue Ivy Carter. The song, Glory, placed at No. 74 on R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, making Blue Ivy the ‘youngest person ever credited with gracing a Billboard chart.’

New Dad Jay-Z took to his Twitter account yesterday to simply say “Best week ever.”
