Heather Locklear 'doing well' in hospital

Heather Locklear was taken to the hospital yesterday following a 911 call made from her home.
The Melrose Place actress’ sister placed the call stating that she was worried Locklear might harm herself, E! Online reported.
People reported earlier that when the emergency response team arrived at Locklear’s residence, they evaluated the situation and decided to take Locklear to the hospital for further medical attention.
50-year-old Locklear has remained in Los Robles Hospital in Thousand Oaks overnight.
A spokeswoman for the hospital released a statement today regarding her condition.
“Heather’s family wants her fans to know that she is doing well. She is out of harm’s way. She is in no danger.”
Locklear’s parents, Bill and Diane Locklear, issued a statement also saying that their daughter was “going to be just fine,” People reported.
TMZ reported that Locklear took a dangerous mix of prescription drugs and alcohol.
Locklear recently split up with her fiance Jack Wagner, who she had been in a relationship with for over four years.
