Brad Pitt's cane mystery

Brad Pitt attended the 23rd International Palm Springs Film Festival on Saturday using the support of a cane for his injured knee.
The Ocean’s Eleven actor attended the gala with his long-term partner Angelina Jolie.
He explained to reporters that he damaged his ACL, a ligament in the knee, while carrying his daughter.
“I was carrying my daughter down the hill and I slipped,” 48-year-old Pitt said on the incident.
“It was either her or me.”
Tombraider star Jolie added “Every parent has injured themselves. Every parent will stand in the line of fire for their kids so it's a normal thing."
36-year-old Jolie also stated that Pitt was not milking his injury.
“He’s not that kind of guy. He does everything still,” she said.
Thanks to Pitt’s efforts, three-year-old Vivienne was not hurt in the fall.
“Vivie’s ok. She was absolutely fine,” Jolie told the reporters.
Pitt can be seen starring as Jackie Cogan in the film Cogan’s Trade. The crime thriller is about a mob enforcer who is investigating a heist during a mob-protected poker game.
