Daniel Radcliffe finds dating awkward

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe claims to be a romantic but that he hated dating because he was ‘crap at it.’

In an interview with Parade Magazine, Radcliffe opens up about his girlfriend, success and his new movie.

Radcliffe is dating Rosie Coker, a production assistant he met on the set of Harry Potter.

“I hated dating because I’m crap at it!” Radcliffe told the magazine.

"I didn’t know what was appropriate. Like on which date you’re supposed to try and kiss her.”

“At the end of the second date I went to kiss Rosie and at the last minute lost my nerve and ended up kissing her neck, which is such a weirdly intimate place to kiss somebody on a second date.”

22-year-old Radcliffe reveals he thinks he is ‘not an easy person to love.’

“There are lots of times when I’m a very good boyfriend, but there are times when I’m useless," Radcliffe explains.

“She [Rosie] loves me for my oddness, my awkwardness, all of those things that I hate about myself. She finds them cute. I guess that’s love.”

Radcliffe is realistic about his success. He says he has accepted that he will never do any films as successful as the Harry Potter series. “But neither will anyone else,” Radcliffe jokes.

‘The Woman in Black’ is a psychological thriller in which Radcliffe plays Arthur Kipps, a lawyer who travels to a remote village and incurs the wrath of a vengeful ghost. The film has a USA release date of 3rd February 2012.
