Michele Bachmann 'suspends' GOP presidential quest

It was announced on today's (January 4) Good Day LA by reporter Steve Edwards that Michele Bachmann has "suspended" her bid for the GOP nomination.
Presidential candidate Michele Bachmann has cancelled her South Carolina trip and will hold a press conference at 11AM ET according to NBC News.
Another GOP hopeful, Texas Governor Rick Perry is also cancelling SC events and flying back to Texas to "reassess his future."
Texas congressman Dr. Ron Paul finished in a close third to former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney who won the Iowa caucuses Tuesday night by eight votes. Romney narrowly edged out former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum.
