Actress Ellen Barkin, who became a multi-millionaire in her divorce from Ron Perelman, rang in 2012 with a filmed incident in New York.
The police "shove" and cursing was caught on camera by her young boyfriend Sam Levinson, son of Barry Levinson, who directed the 1982 film "Diner" that made Barkin famous.
Barkin used Twitter to let it be known how upset she was about the NYPD and Mayor Bloomberg after observing predawn arrests of Occupy Wall Street participants West Village home.
“F--k all of u, Bloomberg & every1 goosestepping behind u,” she tweeted at one point, insisting that she herself had been “threatened” and “shoved” by an officer — a claim that is knocked down by the videotape evidence:
