Beyonce rumoured to have given birth

Beyonce Knowles is rumoured to have given birth to a baby girl and Twitter is in a flurry with congratulatory tweets from fans.

Beyonce followers have even posted their opinions on the baby’s name which is said to be Tiana-May Carter.

There has been no confirmation whether the Crazy in Love singer has had her baby.

The speculation regarding Beyonce and 42-year-old Jay- Z’s baby being born started when MediaTakeOut.com posted an article.

Two nurses from New York’s St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital told MediaTakeOut.com that a ‘Celebrity VIP’ patient was checking in on 27th December to give birth.

They also stated the 'high profile' patient had booked half the floor of the hospital’s luxury 'Labour and Delivery Suite.'

Beyonce’s friend and fellow singer Alicia Keys gave birth to her son at the same hospital in October 2010.

30-year-old Beyonce revealed her baby bump and announced her pregnancy at the MTV Video Music Awards in August 2011.

The announcement set off a Twitter frenzy with a record of 8,868 tweets per second, breaking the Twitter record for ‘most tweets per second recorded for a single event.’

Beyonce married rapper Shawn Carter, better known by his stage name Jay-Z, in April 2008. This is the couple’s first child.
