Bridesmaids star Chris O’Dowd is engaged.
The Irish actor proposed to girlfriend British TV personality Dawn Porter on Boxing Day at Havelet Bay in Guernsey.
32-year-old Porter posted about the engagement on her Twitter account.
‘I guess he liked it, coz he put a ring on it #engaged,' she wrote.
O’Dowd also posted on his Twitter.
‘I’m so bored of all this happiness and sex. I’m getting married. #engaged,' he tweeted.
The couple were inundated with Congratulations on their Twitter accounts.
‘Aw, thanks for all the congrats guys. Feelin the twitter love today. Very happy & lucky boy. #engaged,’ 32-year-old O’Dowd replied.
‘All your congratulations tweets are getting me VERY excited. Thanks guys, so glad you can all make it to the wedding....,’ Porter posted in response.
O’Dowd and Porter are not the only couple to announce their engagement over the Christmas holiday. Joining them are couple’s Steven Tyler and Erin Brady, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves, Britney Spears and Jason Trawick and Michael Jordan and Yvette Prieto to name a few.
