Arnold Schwarzenegger may not have to go through a divorce after his wife Maria Shriver is reported to have had second thoughts about her decision.
According to TMZ, Shriver has told friends she is unsure she wants to go ahead with the divorce. Her religion does not include divorce and Schwarzenegger has been pulling out all the stops to get her back.
He has been ‘extremely sweet’ buying her presents and making many gestures to show her how he feels, TMZ reported.
Shriver and Schwarzenegger have four children together. The couple separated in May 2011 and Shriver filed for divorce after finding out the ‘Terminator’ star had fathered a son with the couple’s housekeeper 14 years earlier.
The 64-year-old actor will keep the Brentwood home. Shriver purchased a place nearby so the children can travel easily between the houses. The parents were awarded joint custody of the two youngest children.
Shriver has filed for Schwarzenegger to pay spousal support and to reimburse her attorney’s fees.
