Mel Gibson's divorce finalised

Mel Gibson’s divorce from Robyn Moore was finalised on Friday ending the couple’s 31-year marriage.
People reported that Moore, the mother of their seven children, was awarded half his estimated $850,000 fortune. It is believed to be the biggest divorce payout in Hollywood history.
According to TMZ, the pair had been working on their financial settlement for over a year as Gibson and his wife had no pre-nup.
Gibson and Moore got married in 1980 but the pair separated in July 2006. Moore filed for divorce in April 2009 citing irreconcilable differences shortly after photos of Gibson and his new girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, surfaced.
The ‘Lethal Weapon’ actor had a daughter with Grigorieva in October 2009. The parents were locked in a custody battle which was settled in August 2011.
The 55-year-old actor’s new film ‘How I spent my Summer Vacation’ is due out in April 2012. Gibson plays a career criminal who is arrested and placed in a Mexican prison where a 9-year-old boy comes to his aid.
