Jennifer O’Neill, Lady Gaga’s former personal assistant, has filed a lawsuit against the ‘Just Dance’ singer claiming she was overworked and underpaid.
O’Neill worked for Gaga over a 13-month period and accompanied the 25-year-old during her Monster Ball tour. Although she was on a well paid annual salary of $75,000, the former P.A claims she worked an estimated 7168 hours of unpaid overtime totalling $380.000.
According to the New York Post, O’Neill said her job included “ensuring the promptness of a towel following a shower and serving as a personal alarm clock to keep the singer on schedule.”
O’Neill alleged at times she did not even get a chance to sleep as she was dealing with “spontaneous, random matters in the middle of the night.”
Gaga not only demanded O’Neill’s skills at her home but also in “stadiums, private jets, fine hotel suites, yachts, ferries, trains and tour buses.”
The lawsuit was filed against Gaga’s Mermaid touring company in Manhattan’s federal court last week.
A spokeswoman for Gaga said the lawsuit is “completely without merit.”
Gaga released her latest track 'Stuck on Fu**in' You' from her Born this Way album on Christmas day.
