Rapper Tyler the Creator arrested for vandalism

Los Angeles - Rapper Tyler the Creator was arrested on suspicion of vandalism after allegedly destroying sound equipment at a nightclub where he had been performing, celebrity website TMZ.com reported Friday.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the arrest late Thursday at the Roxy nightclub on Hollywood's Sunset Strip set off a near riot in the famous entertainment district, with police reportedly using bean-bag ammunition to disperse the angry crowd.
The 20-year-old rapper, whose real name is Tyker Okonma, is the frontman for the controversial hip hop collective Old Future. He was released on a bond of 20,000 dollars Friday morning.
