Britney Spears' Christmas engagement

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick are set to wed.
The pop singer was proposed by her former agent on his 40th birthday, Us Weekly reports.
Spears appeared to confirm the news on her Twitter account Friday morning. "OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I've been waiting for. Can't wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo," she tweeted.
Spears and Trawick confirmed that they were dating back in May 2010, and officially announced the end of their business relationship. At the time, they said in a statement that they "have decided to end their professional relationship and focus on their personal relationship."
Spears' previous marriages included childhood friend Jason Alexander in 2004 and then to former backup dancer Kevin Federline which yielded two sons.
In 2007, Spears' lost custody of her sons Sean Preston, 6, and Jayden James, 5, to Federline, being committed and placed on several psychiatric holds and navigating a bizarre relationship with paparazzo Adnan Ghalib.
Spears finished out 2011 with her white hot Femme Fatale tour.
