Pop sensation Lady Gaga recently posed nude for singer Tony Bennett so he could sketch her and the end result can now be purchased on eBay.
Vanity Fair’s photographer Annie Leibovitz was also on hand to photograph the ‘Marry the Night’ singer. The photograph and portrait can both be seen in the January 2012 issue of Vanity Fair which is available on newsstands now.
eBay are hosting an exclusive auction starting with the original portrait of Lady Gaga by Tony Bennett.
Other items include accessories the 25-year-old singer wore during the Vanity Fair photo shoot. Also available are goods signed by Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett and Annie Leibovitz.
The proceeds from the auction will benefit two non-profit organizations. The first one is ‘Exploring the Arts,’ founded by Tony Bennett and his wife Susan Benedetto. It was set up to strengthen the roles of the arts in public high school education.
The second organisation is the ‘Born this Way Foundation,’ founded by Lady Gaga in partnership with MacArthur Foundation and Harvard University. It will officially launch in 2012 and will concentrate on youth empowerment through self-confidence, well-being, anti-bullying, mentoring and career development.
The bidding started on eBay on Monday 12th December and will finish on Monday 19th December at 10am PST.
