Award winning actress Sandra Bullock has been chatting to Access Hollywood about Christmas, being a mum and her upcoming movie ‘Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.’
When asked what presents she is getting her son for Christmas, the ‘Miss Congeniality’ star jokes “He gets nothing. Not a thing. The less you give, the less they’ll expect. And that way if I give him nothing, he won’t remember it and he won’t expect it next year and it’s cheaper.”
Joking aside she continues “It’s going to be a little ridiculous. I want the photo ops to be really great because he’s not going to remember it, but he’ll remember it by the photos and when he’s 16."
Bullock’s new movie ‘Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close,’ tells the story of a young boy who loses his father in the September 11th terrorist attacks. He finds a key belonging to his father and searches for the matching lock.
The film means a lot to the 47-year-old actress who was actually present and witnessed the terrorist attack on September 11th 2001.
She told Access “I was here on that day with my sister and brother-in-law. We were at a place and I got it because it had the view of the twin towers for my brother-in-law’s birthday, which is September 11, so, we saw the second plane hit, we saw the people, we saw it all.”
Bullock stars alongside Tom Hanks in ‘Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close,’ which is set for release on January 20th.
