30 Rock star Alec Baldwin said he was kicked off an American Airlines flight for refusing to stop playing a game on his electronic device.
His spokesman, Matthew Hiltzik, said that Baldwin was asked to leave the plane for playing the online game ‘Words With Friends’ while the plane was at the gate. He said the actor loved the game so much he was willing to leave the plane for it.
The 53-year-old actor mentioned the game on Twitter, saying that it was addictive.
Baldwin later tweeted "Flight attendant on American reamed me out 4 playing WORDS W FRIENDS while we sat at the gate, not moving.#nowonderamericaisbankrupt.”
Michael. J. Wolf, another passenger on the LAX-JFK flight, took to Twitter, saying “On an AA flight at LAX. Alec Baldwin removed from the plane. We had to go back to the gate. Terrible that everyone had to wait.”
The actor took a later LAX-JFK flight and expressed his feelings on Twitter saying “the 3 o'clock American flight. The flight attendants already look.....smarter.”
He continued “Last flight w American. Where retired Catholic school gym teachers from the 1950's find jobs as flight attendants.”
