Christie Brinkley to repay $531k in back taxes

Hit with a hefty tax lien, Christie Brinkley will repay the $531000. in back taxes this week.
The Associated Press reports that Christie Brinkley responded to the press via a statement regarding the initial news reports of her tax trouble.
Brinkley, 57, claims she was distracted taking care of her parents, and not paying attention to what her tax accountants were doing.
Brinkley said the amount owed was a "result of an error" and pledges it will be paid in full by Wednesday.
The 57-year-old Brinkley appeared in Broadway this year playing Roxie Hart in the musical "Chicago."
