It has been announced that pop queen Madonna will be performing at the Super Bowl XLVI half-time show next year.
The NFL and NBC confirmed Madonna’s appearance during Sunday night’s New Orleans-Detroit game.
The Vogue singer will entertain the crowd at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on February 5th.
The 53-year-old will follow in the footsteps of artists such as Black Eyed Peas, Usher, Slash, The Who, Bruce Springsteen and many more who have performed during the Super Bowl half-time slot.
During the premiere of her new movie W.E., Madonna announced that her new album will be released early 2012. Her new single will come out in February falling in nicely with her Super Bowl appearance.
W.E. gets a US release on February 3rd, 2012.
