Anne Hathaway engaged

American actress Anne Hathaway is engaged to her boyfriend Adam Shulman.
Hathaway, 29, has been dating the 30-year-old actor/jewellery designer for three years.
Speculation started over the weekend after pictures emerged of Hathaway wearing an engagement ring.
Hathaway’s rep confirmed the engagement to Access Hollywood along with the news that Shulman and Kwiat Heritage Jewels designed the ring together.
The Princess Diaries star met Shulman in 2008 after her break up with Raffaello Follieri, who was arrested shortly after on fraud charges and sentenced to four and a half years.
At the time, Hathaway discussed her new relationship with Shulman to Vogue saying “We hit it off immediately, but it took us a pretty long time to get together. He thought that I had a boyfriend, and I thought that he had a girlfriend, so I thought that I’d better keep my distance because I didn’t want to be that girl.”
When the couple found out they were both unattached she continued “things sped up a bit—and I think I’ll leave it at that.”
Hathaway is currently filming a Batman film titled ‘The Dark Knight Rises,’ where she plays the part of Catwoman.
