Amanda Seyfried in talks for Lovelace

Actress Amanda Seyfried is negotiating a part as adult film star Linda Lovelace in Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman's drama "Lovelace."
Peter Sarsgaard is being considered to portray her pornographer husband Chuck Traynor according to Variety.
The script was penned by writers W. Merritt Johnson and Andy Bellin, based on Eric Danville's book "The Complete Linda Lovelace."
A staple of 1970s porn, Linda Lovelace became a household name after the 1972 porno "Deep Throat." It was filmed in 6 days for 25 thousand dollars. The government didn't want you to see it, and it was banned in 23 states. It has grossed over 600 million dollars. And it is still the most profitable film in motion picture history.
The middle-class kid from Florida became an overnight sensation who was abused and manipulated by the men in her life, including Traynor.
Kate Hudson was the first pick before she became pregnant.
"Lovelace" is expected to start production in January
Seyfried ecently wrapped Justin Zackham's comedy "The Wedding."
