Maksim Chmerkovskiy continues to stand firm on his assertions the judges' are not fair or correct in their commentary.
This past Monday night, ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" saw Maks and his partner Hope Solo get a tongue lashing from an irate judge Len Goodman, along with Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli regarding her progress, or lack of it and Maks' partial blame for it.
"This is my show," said Maks, in his follow up with Brooke Charvet. That was the second scandal which he corrected in a later statement.
Ricki Lake's partner Derek Hough sided with the judges according to UsWeekly.com
"Derek Hough has been very supportive of his personal career on the show," Maksim said in an interview with Robin Roberts on Good Morning America Wednesday.
"Why is it the judges are allowed to compare us to animals...Lacey has been very supportive...Tony is my best friend and to be quite frank with you I don't care about anyone else's opinion...When you say judges have been generous, with all due respect, if I had Nicole Scherzinger followed by Jennifer Grey followed by Ricki Lake, I probably would not be very upset with the judges either."
Maksim says, "Looking back, I had a long conversation with my dad and I don't regret anything," he said on Good Morning America. "That's why I think I'm misunderstood in a little bit in this situation. Everyone is waiting for me to bow my head take a knee and plead for forgiveness. I have nothing to apologize for. I'm in the business because I love it. I can't really lose with remarks like this."
"Seventeen years ago I was given an opportunity to have free speech..."
