Celeb Nincompoop report: Shia LaBeouf and Soulja Boy win for Oct. 18

In two separate cases of complete nincompoopery, actor Shia LaBeouf and rapper Soulja Boy each deserve the honors for their respective acts of stupidity.

Shia LaBeouf is in Canada making a film. This means someone is paying him a lot of money to read lines, eat for free and act.  However, the 'Transformers' star got into a violent altercation outside a Vancouver bar instead.

LaBeouf was punched repeatedly in the head by a shirtless, clearly drunk man, but the video below also shows the actor attempting to fight back.

According to Vancouver radio station News1130, the fight began at the Cinema Public House before the bar's security team kicked both men out, and it continued  on the city's popular Granville Street, where a cameras picked up the action.

Not to be outdone by Shia, rapper Soulja Boy was just jailed on drug and weapons charges on Tuesday after a traffic stop in Georgia, police said.

The 21-year-old (named DeAndre Cortez Way) and four homies were traveling in a...wait for it...Cadillac Escalade.

Police discovered marijuana, pistols and cash inside the car.

The rapper, three bodyguards and a driver and a puppy each were arrested on felony charges of possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm.

All five men (and a puppy given to family members) were booked into the Carroll County jail.
