Unfortunate tattoo decisions, Jesse James and Kat Von D are over again (VIDEO)

The problem with tattoos is that sometimes, when you ink a strong feeling or devotion,  you can change your mind and are stuck with the visual reminder of a past thought, idea or love until the laser can burn it off your flesh.

Better to tattoo tribal symbols, Coi, tic tac toe grids or floral wallpaper edging than a lover's face on your body, and that is exactly what Kat Von D is dealing with after word got out she and Jesse James have split once again.

Von D revealed the split on Facebook.

"I am not in a relationship. (And I apologize for all the "back and forth" if it's caused any confusion)," said Kat, whose reality TV series was ended by TLC.

The tatted up couple broke off their engagement in July, for reasons still not entirely clear, only to be back on again and planning a wedding one month later. But it was not to be.  Then word got out Kat was losing her hair, a lot, and was wearing wigs now.

On Facebook, Kat also wrote, "I am not in any way moving to Texas."

"My tattoo shop is not closing, and is open for business... same goes for my art gallery, Wonderland - next door to High Voltage Tattoo."

"I wish Jesse nothing but the best in life and in love."

Now Kat Von D will have to deal with a bad decision: Removing James' tattooed face from her body.
