On the heels of Comedy Central's epic winning roast of actor Charlie Sheen this September 10 (taping) comes Sheen's newfound cache in acting once again.
The former "Two and an Half Men" actor is set to play 'Charlie Swan' in Roman Coppola's new film.
Variety reports that Sheen joins writer/director Coppola's relative Jason Schwartzman (cousin) in the film "A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charlie Swan III."
The premise mirrors some of the crazy antics of Sheen's own life. "Glimpse" follows a successful graphic designer whose fame, money and charm have made him irresistible to women. When his girlfriend breaks up with him, his life heads into a downward spiral.
Sheen also inked a TV deal with Lionsgate TV and producer Joe Roth to star in a smallscreen spinoff of the 2003 Adam Sandler comedy "Anger Management."
