Whiz kid: Gerard Depardieu cannot hold his water

When you gotta go, you gotta go.

Especially if you are a famous French actor, it seems.

"Green Card" charmer Gérard Depardieu had a sudden attack of the "je veux pisser" (I have to pee) but was told he had to sit tight and wait until he got off the plane.

The action happened on an Air France flight from Paris to Dublin, as Depardieu was caught short on a Paris to Dublin flight and chose not to bother going to the toilet before relieving himself, airline CityJet told AFP.

"I will only confirm that he, in effect, urinated in the plane," a spokeswoman for the Air France-KLM subsidiary said, confirming a report on Europe 1 radio, which interviewed a passenger named Danielle who witnessed the incident. 

When the French actor reportedly told flight attendants from his seat, "Je veux pisser, je veux pisser" ("I have to pee"), according to the French Radio station Europe 1 interview, he relieved himself on the carpet in the cabin in front of passengers.

"You could tell he'd been drinking," said Daniele.

The plane returned to the gate and all 127 passengers were forced to disembarked. The flight was delayed another two hours while ground crew sopped up Gerard's urine.

Golden Globe-winning Depardieu was on his way to Ireland to film "Asterix and Obelix: God Save Britannia."
