Ethan Hawke is the proud papa of baby number four: A daughter named Indiana.
Austin native Hawke, 40, and his wife Ryan had their second child two weeks ago, and they've christened her Indiana.
People reported the news earlier today, and his wife and child are reported to be doing very well.
Hawke's first two children, Maya and Levon, are from his union with ex-wife Uma Thurman.
Ethan Hawke is now in pre-production on a new horror-thriller, the untitled Scott Derrickson Project, and the project is being produced by Blumhouse/Possessed Pictures along with Brian Kavanaugh-Jones’ Automatik Entertainment, with Charles Layton serving as executive producer.
Derrickson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose) is scheduled to start the horror film on September 19 from a script he co-wrote with C. Robert Cargill.
Hawke recently wrapped production on television adaptation of "Moby Dick," starring opposite William Hurt in the role of first officer Starbuck.
The two-part Encore telepic premiered on Aug. 1. At the recent Television Critics' Association summer press tour, Hawke was asked why he chose to do the remake.
"It’s great material. I also felt like it was time to be done again. It’s a great story that kind of needs to be told, and the script is really great. Nigel [Williams] wrote a wonderful script. He figured out a way to tell the story that felt fresh to me, and I was happy to be part of it."
Hawke is set to star opposite Kristin Scott Thomas in Pawel Pawlikowski’s The Woman in the Fifth, as a college lecturer who flees to Paris after a scandal costs him his job.
