Kings of Leon Caleb Followill ditches in Dallas

Dallas fans of Kings of Leon were left high and dry, after lead man Caleb Followill was overcome by heat and just bailed on his fellow bandmates.

The Kings of Leon performance was cut short by Caleb's inability to deal with the summer heat. He left the stage abruptly during their performance Friday night at the Gexa Energy Pavilion.

E! news reported that the temperatures were in the 90s, and that Caleb stopped performing and said, "My voice is completely 100-percent wrong, I'm sorry...I'm about to fall down here because I'm so goddamn hot…I'm gonna go backstage for a second. I'm gonna vomit, I'm gonna drink a beer and I'm gonna come back out here and I'm gonna play three more songs."

Caleb never came back.

His brother apologized on Twitter.

Jared Followill, guitarist and brother of Caleb, Tweeted: "I love our fans so much. I know you guys aren't stupid. I can't lie. There are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade."

"We are so unbelievably sorry—there's no words right now...Caleb's just maybe a little unfit to play the rest of the show. I know you guys f--king hate us...It's really not our fault. We will be back as soon as possible...F--king hate Caleb, not us."
