"Gossip Girl" star Leighton Meester has sent large sums of money home monthly to her mother for the care of her disabled brother.
Except that mom has been using the money to allegedly fix herself up, electing for cosmetic procedures and now publicly warring with her daughter for even more money.
Meester, according to TMZ, has filed a lawsuit against her mother Constance, claiming that her mother misappropriated the $7,500 Leighton sends to her for the explicit use of health care for her youngest brother Alexander, who has medical issues.
Leighton's mother allegedly refuses to work and is using the money for plastic surgery, Botox and hair weaves.
TMZ reports that Constance Meester on Monday filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior Court alleging that Leighton gave her a verbal contract for a one-time payment of $30,000, and then $10,000 a month, and is not honoring the agreement.
As a result, the brother, Alexander's care is suffering.
TMZ also claims that Constance's lawsuit lists assault charges, "on December 11, 2010, Leighton intentionally assaulted Constance by throwing her to the ground and repeatedly hitting her with a bottle. Leighton had to be pulled off of Constance by her brother Alexander."
Constance Meester is demanding damages from the alleged beating, for breach of contract, fraud, intentional infliction of emotional distress and other charges.
Constance Meester claims that the money agreed to between her and her daughter was a "settlement for all the money she helped make for her daughter" according to TMZ.
