Taylor Momsen rips off Wendy O. Williams, electrical tape boob flash

Taylor Momsen, the 17-year-old Pretty Reckless frontwoman, recently ripped off the late great Wendy O. Williams' signature electrical tape nipple cover during her band's Sunday performance at the Download Festival in Castle Donington, England.

"I'm an extremist and I very much enjoy pushing the boundaries when it comes to fashion," Momsen gushed to Us Weekly at the Kids' Choice Awards in April. "I don't care what people have to say about my style. Fashion's not for everyone. I'm not asking you to wear it."

Especially when it's borrowed directly from Wendy O. Williams of the Plasmatics, a punk band famous in the 1980s.

Wendy walked the talk. She used her head to bust open the window in a moving bus and beat some serious ass in a movie called "Reform School Girls."

She recorded a version of Tammy Wynette's 'Stand By Your Man" with Lemmy from Motorhead.  The Plasmatics with Wendy at the helm were loud and pretty awful musically, but compelling the way unique artists truly are.  There was no one like her.

Wendy actually fired sawed-off shotgun (blanks) shells into the audience. Wendy chainsawed stage sets and guitars in half and blew up Cadillacs onstage too.

I personally watched guitarist Richie Stotts rub his head and ears into a huge stack of amps with the volume so loud it bled ears in University of Houston's Cullen auditorium when they opened for the band Wall of Voodoo.

And Wendy? She asked me to help her put on her electrical tape (she wore only electrical tape for this show, top and bottom). I was a Program Council member, and our little group bought the show from the agents and produced the concert for the school.

"It's all I ever wanted to do with my life," Taylor told Us. "I wanted to make records and tour, so it's very exciting that our first record is coming out and people can actually hear it."  She couldn't even come close to matching this:
