Country music and reality TV star Trace Adkins' home was destroyed in a fire today, June 4.
Adkins' Brentwood 5,000-square-foot mansion on Millsford Court went up in flames, burning up his music awards and his phootgraphes and belongings, but luckily his family was unhurt.
His wife Rhonda Adkins spoke to the Tennessean: “You can replace things, not people. I’m just glad that my children are safe...I’m just numb,” she said. “I’m sad because we lost irreplaceable things like all Trace’s awards and our family photos.”
Rhonda Adkins arrived home at 3:45 p.m., about 10 minutes after Brentwood firefighters say the fire started.
Two of the couple’s children and the houseguests plus the family pets made it out of the blaze.
Trace Adkins was on a plane to Alaska Saturday afternoon and did not know about the fire. Adkins will be back in Nashville this week for the CMA Music Festival. He is scheduled to take the stage at LP Field next Saturday night.
