Sarah Harding wants Girls together

Nov 1, 2010, 5:00 GMT

Sarah Harding says Girls Aloud will only make another album if every member decides they want to return to the group. Sarah Harding says Girls Aloud will only make another album if all the members are on board.

The blonde singer admits it's been great for each member to have some time away from the band to focus on solo projects, but is adamant the dynamic wouldn't be right if one girl wanted out.

She said: "If we're going to do it (get back together), we should all do it together - that's what the fans would want. I don't think it would be the same if one of us wasn't there!"

During Girls Aloud's self-imposed hiatus Sarah has been focusing on her acting career with a role in 'St. Trinian's II: The Legend of Fritton's Gold', while Cheryl Cole has released a solo LP and been a judge on Simon Cowell's pop star search show 'The X Factor'.

Nadine Coyle has just brought out a solo album, Nicola Roberts has her own range of make-up and Kimberley Walsh has landed a TV presenting job.

Sarah is keen to reform with her bandmates but thinks it will only happen when each member feels satisfied with their efforts away from the group.

She added: "I think when everyone's happy that they've done well with their solo projects, it will be great to reform."

Earlier this week, Cheryl was adamant Girls Aloud will get back together.

The 'Promise This' singer said: "We have a three album deal with the record label - we signed it before we took a break. I actually think this break is really important for us as people. We've been together since I was 19, I remember Nicola's 17th birthday when we'd just got together. We're all young women now and we were living and breathing each other. We needed this space to grow."
