In what seems part of an ongoing planned "carelessness" of Paris Hilton's run-ins with Johnny Law and the decency police, Miss Paris earns her headlines the hard way.
Hilton made waves from her establishing famewhore career move of the infamous "One Night In Paris" Vivid Video sex tape, to recent alleged pot busts and close calls in South Africa during her summer FIFA / Eurotrash heiress yacht tour that continued through the Mediterranean Sea.
A few years ago, Paris Hilton was arrested en route to iconic burger spot In N' Out Burger for a late night food fix and was popped for DUI. Hilton was pulled over for driving under the influence in Hollywood after being spotted driving erratically.
Hilton’s people later said that the one-time Carl's Jr. spokesperson, Paris, only had one margarita and was tired and hungry. “I was just really hungry and I wanted to have an In-N-Out burger,” Hilton told radio station KIIS-FM.
Now, the rail-thin actress has been arrested in Las Vegas Friday night for cocaine possession.
Police found a small amount of the substance on Hilton after the black Escalade driven by her boyfriend was "wafting Marijuana smoke" out the windows.
Officers stopped the SUV on the Las Vegas Boulevard after following the herbal fragrance and found some cocaine in the hotel heiress' pocketbook.
Hilton was arrested on a felony cocaine possession charge. Hilton was booked into the Clark County Detention Center early Saturday, according to People, and later released without bail. Hilton immediately hired attorney David Chesnoff, a Vegas lawyer who has represented David Copperfield, Suge Knight and Vince Neil, according to TMZ.com.
Escalade driver / boyfriend Cy Waits was charged with driving under the influence and remained in custody Saturday morning awaiting a court appearance, the AP reports.
Whether she does any real time is questionable.
