Mariah Carey creates spouse scent

Mariah Carey's new perfume was inspired by her husband Nick Cannon.

The singer says Nick's proposal gave her the ideas to create Lollipop Bling, her new "sweet" fragrance.

She said: "The inspiration for Lollipop Bling was Nick's marriage proposal to me. He first surprised me with a ring-pop - romantic, fun and young-at-heart - like me!"

Mariah is releasing Lollipop Bang through Elizabeth Arden in conjunction with Topps Candy Company next month.

The singer was recently described by Nick as the "diva of all divas".

The rapper-and-presenter said his superstar spouse lives up to her demanding reputation but that's one of the things he loves about her.

Nick revealed: "Imagine if you've got the diva of all divas. If we've got to be somewhere at five or six o'clock, I tell her it's time to go at noon so she gets those five hours to do what she needs to do.

"But we're both kids at heart. She is the funniest person ever and she has a great sense of humour. We connect at a spiritual level."
