Cheryl Cole's divorce party

Cheryl Cole is throwing a divorce party next weekend.

The 'Fight For this Love' singer is reportedly planning a lavish bash with her close female friends to celebrate the end of her marriage to British soccer player Ashley Cole - who reportedly cheated on her with numerous women.

The 26-year-old beauty is apparently arranging the get-together to coincide with the England team's World Cup soccer match against the US next Saturday (12.06.10).

A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "Cheryl is very keen to have the divorce settled so she can get on with her life. She wants to let her hair down and forget about Ashley. There will be a strict no televisions policy so Cheryl and her pals do not see the 29-year-old love-rat in the game.

"She has no interest in watching England's World Cup matches because of Ashley's involvement so she thought the perfect time for a mini-celebration would be during the USA game."

Cheryl filed for divorce last month, just weeks after it was claimed her spouse had been sending explicit picture and text messages to other women - who he has also been accused of having sex with.

Since the split, Cheryl has been spending lots of time with her backing dancer Derek Hough - who recently won 'Dancing With The Stars' with Nicole Scherzinger - fuelling speculation they are secretly dating.

Cheryl's estranged husband Ashley has also seemingly moved on, and is reportedly dating 23-year-old lapdancer Sarah Purnell.
